Spring Trend Report 2025
February 13, 2025
Each year, we study the runways and everyday street style to select the current looks that we (and you) can get behind. From color stories to fresh styling, here’s our take on the need-to-know trends for spring 2025.
Trends to Try This Season
Sunset Shades
Coming in hot: sunset shades, because there’s nothing more flattering than that golden hour glow. Whether it’s on-trend baby pink and butter yellow, or bold fiery red and burnt orange, choose your shade from the ombré-inspired scheme. Stand out (in a good way) with tone-on-tone dressing, or style with your favorite neutrals and metallics.
Stripe Hype
Stripes are our backbone of our brand—a style staple and forever favorite classic through the ages. From nostalgic sailor stripes to sleek pinstripes, this year is all about piling on the print. Don’t stray from mixing and matching different colors, sizes, and angles. Whether you’re adding a nautical touch here and there or going head-to-toe in a maximalist set, the magic is in the imperfection.
Boho Is Back
It’s official: 70s-inspired style has made a comeback and is here to stay. The key elements? Flowy, frilly, fringy, and layered looks. Think earthy prints, wide-leg pants, ruffled blouses, and textures like crochet, lace, and eyelet. This trend is what you make it. Remember the style icons of the 90s like Penny Lane from Almost Famous, Kate Moss, and the Olsen Twins? They’re the picture of boho—women dressing for vibes, mixing and matching specialty pieces, and stamping their passports from faraway places. Isabel Marant, Sea New York, and Ulla Johnson capture this spirit with bold colors, statement prints, and feminine details.
Romantic Whimsy
What exactly is romanticism? This movement pulls inspiration from nature, Greek mythology, and impressionistic art, embracing all things idealistic and whimsical. In fashion terms, it’s florals, soft colors, and prints that remind you of a Monet painting. Go all-out with oversized florals, or take a more subtle approach with delicate materials like chiffon, mesh, and silk, or pops of pastel like powder pink, sky blue, or mint green.
Balloon Silhouettes
“Turn up the volume” is your new mantra, because bubble hems and pumped-up shapes like puff sleeves and peplum waists are the name of the game. Once big in 80s maximalist fashion, the bubble trend isn’t quite ready to be popped. Give today’s version a try with a statement sleeve or unexpected hem. It’s more subtle than you think— just enough to make a statement, plus a fun return to your youthful, girly dressing.
